NINTH GRADE PROGRAM

 
The Ninth Grade Program at the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center offers selected ninth grade students the opportunity to receive an early start in career training. The students are selected and referred to the program by participating home schools.
 
After being selected for the program, each student:

Is placed in the shop chosen, if the student, counselors, and instructor all agree.
 
Students may attend either morning or afternoon sessions. The morning session is from 8:15 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.; the afternoon session begins at 12:10 p.m. and ends at 2:55 p.m. The rest of the day is spent at the home school studying basic academic subjects.
