Job Outlook
The opportunities are varied in the field
of Interior Design and Decorating and depend a great deal upon individual
talents, skills, and training. Top of the line jobs are more prominent in
the larger cities; however, there are over 90 prospective employers within the
Blair County area.
Further Education Opportunities
Many colleges, universities, art institutes offer
Interior Design in both two- and four-year degrees. The Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania is trying to pass legislation which will require that all designers
and decorators be licensed to practice in the State. Many states already
require this. By training here, you will be ready for the licensing test. We are
proud to say that we are the only secondary vocational school in Pennsylvania
offering this curriculum to both high school students and adults, which means
that you will have a better chance of obtaining job openings in the field.
