BLOODMOBILE
T he Practical Nursing Department will host an American Red Cross Bloodmobile on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3rd, 2008. The Bloodmobile will be held from
8 am to 2 pm, in the Practical Nursing suite. Donor sign-up sheets have been distributed to all offices and individual mailboxes. Donors 18 years and over are not required to submit a parent permission form. Donors that are 16 years old will
need to stop by the Practical Nursing Suite to pick up a parental consent packet. Donors that are 17 will also need to pick up a parental consent form. Please submit the donor sheets and parent permission forms to Practical Nursing by Tuesday, November 25th, in order to arrange an appointment schedule. Also, donors
must present a license and/or school ID before giving blood. If they forget to bring a license or school ID they will not be allowed to donate. All presenting donors will receive a T-shirt. Please remember to eat and drink well before donating. All donors (16 and 17-year olds) that are signed-up and bring in parent permission forms by November 25th will be entered into a drawing
to win two movie tickets and a large 1-topping pizza from Marzoni’s. All presenting donors (all ages) will be entered to win a giveaway from the Practical Nursing Department.
