Taking advantage of this
postsecondary experience may jump-start your college career by giving you the
opportunity to earn college credits while you are still in high school. Students may then complete their degrees at Penn Highlands Community College or opt to transfer credits to a college or university of their choice. (It is your responsibility to contact a transfer counselor at the institution you plan to attend to see if they will accept these credits. You should do this before you register for the class .) Computer Technology/Cisco students can enroll and earn as many as 32 college credits toward an Associate Degree. Students will qualify to earn 32 credits over their three-year enrollment in the program.
Computer Technology/Oracle students can enroll and earn as many as 21 college credits toward an Associate Degree. Students will
qualify to earn 21 credits over their three-year enrollment in the program.
Electronics Technology students may earn 20 college credits toward an Associate Degree. Students will qualify to earn 20 credits over their three-year enrollment in the program. If a student enrolls in the dual enrollment program, the cost is $30 per credit. With an average college credit cost of approximately $455 per credit, students will realize savings as high as $8,500!! This is an incredible opportunity for your child to achieve college credits while attending high school. Multimedia and Web Design students will work toward 15 college credits with either an Associate of Communications or Associate in Web Development. Students will qualify to earn 15 credits over their three-year enrollment in the program. If a student enrolls in the dual enrollment program, the cost is $30 per credit. With an average college credit cost of approximately $455 per credit, students will realize savings as high as $6,375!! This is an incredible opportunity for your child to achieve college credits while attending high school.
