Digital Printing starts with an idea and the need to communicate that idea to someone. Printing is vital in communicating that idea in today’s world. It is the process by which ideas, pictures and information are transferred in ink onto a physical material. The production of a finished product can rely upon hundreds of people with varied talents and abilities.

The Digital Printing Technologies Program prepares the student for entry level employment in the printing and desktop publishing industries. The students learn hands-on skills in design, typesetting, desktop publishing, camera & darkroom operations as well as press and post-press operations. Much of the learning takes place through actual production of printed jobs.
